Spring '23 Hawaii Photoshoot

Hawaii is always a good idea. The beauty, the diversity, the sun and waves, lush scenery and white sandy beaches call to us. Beautiful settings are abound, but we settled on Kawela Bay as the ideal location to capture our latest colors, textures and prints. Kawela Bay is on the northern coast of Oahu and is considered to be one of the most secluded beaches on the island, with stunning views of coconut palms and tropical greenery.

The new collection features our newest mixed print styles, Sunny Gardens, along side textured fabric styles in Pearl ribbed and Violet wavy ribbed colorways. Our goal for this shoot was to illustrate how versatile our suits are, and showcase how they are made for the girl who isn't afraid to get her hair salty. The shoot highlights the versatility of our Sunny Gardens styles which feature a mixed print pattern, many of which are reversible.

Let us take you behind the scenes of our latest photo shoot in Kawela bay on Oahu, with the amazing photographer Ke'alohi, who shot a mix of film and digital images. Kealohi has been our go to photographer on the island and her creative process is impressive to watch, as her beautiful images give credit to.

Malia Murphey was our beautiful model for the shoot. Her elegant movements and natural beauty made selecting our favorite images almost impossible. We made a pit stop to shoot at Malia's plant based eco cafe, Raised by the Waves. You can find the cafe tucked away in Kahuka Sugar Mill right next to Seven Brothers and the Post Office. Kawela Bay proved to be an all time favorite location and perfect match for newest collection.
